The Friends of Nottingham Music School is a registered charity operated by parents & carers of NMS students, they have supported NMS over a period of many years.
One of their main activities is running the Friends Cafe on Saturday mornings at Ellis Guilford, this provides a safe and friendly enviroment for students to meet, socialise and buy refreshments.
CRB Checks
It is necessary to obtain a Criminal Records Bureau Check for anyone working at Music School including parents/volunteers staffing the café. We need to do this as a matter of urgency to comply with Government Legislation.
To apply for a CRB check you need to complete an application form and present it with appropriate identification to be submitted. In order to minimise the inconvenience to you we have arranged for Sara Allen-Smith (from College St.) to be at Music School from 9am – 10.30am on Saturday 13th March 2010 to help with this process, check identification and receive applications.
If you cannot attend on the 13th March please let us know as soon as possible so that we can arrange an alternative time for you to submit your application. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like to discuss this further. |
